This is my idea of an affordable, high quality, everyday knife. This is one in a series of the TigerCat line that will use the same 3D printed handle design but have different blade profiles.
Also comes with what I am calling a first cut clip. I have not been able to do much testing with it but the idea is to have a low profile “sheath” to cover the cutting edge and put in a pocket that can be flipped 180 degrees to expose a portion of the cutting edge and help aid in making the first cut on an animal. It’s like a gut hook but without all the downsides, like getting clogged with hair and difficulty sharpening. I would love to hear feedback on it if anyone finds it useful.
